Transglobal Underground founder member Count Dubullah (aka Nick Page) blends Ethiopian traditional music, 60s and 70s Ethiojazz and the dub reggae sound of the Abyssinians, the Mighty Diamonds and Sun Ra, with a 12-piece band featuring, direct from Ethiopia, 'Mimi' Zenebe (‘the Ethiopian Edith Piaf’), Tsedenia Gebremarkos (Best East African Female Singer, Kora Awards), Teremage Woretow (on Mesenqo, one-string fiddle), Ethiojazz pianist Samuel Yirga, and Feleke Hailu (judge of Ethiopian Idol). The night opens with a set of traditional Ethiopian Azmari song.
