In repsonse to an increased demand for 12" vinyl, Dutch label, Music and Words have formed a new label 6 Spices to release classic as well as contemporary titles from the world of folk, jazz and world music.
Titles released so far are:
Nic Jones - Penguin Eggs
Sun Ra - Sun Song
Shirley Collins - Adieu to Old England
All releases are on 180 gramme vinyl with the audiophile in mind, remastering the original tapes. A new website is to be established shortly but in the meantime more details can be found on the Music and Words website. The label is distributed by Proper in the UK.
